About Strengthening Transformations Inc.
Transforming Adversities into Strength
Originating in Versailles, Kentucky, we advocate, mentor, and educate women and girls through workshops and community partnerships.
We believe empowerment is the key to breaking generational cycles and strengthening foundations.
Our Story
Originating in Versailles, Kentucky, Strengthening Transformations Inc. was established in 2017 by Brittany Campbell to help women and families facing challenges surrounding domestic violence, substance abuse, and teen pregnancy.
The organization grew from personal connection and lived experience. Brittany was a teen mother. Her aunt’s life was taken in a domestic violence situation. Her childhood friend struggled with substance abuse for more than a decade before losing her battle with addiction in November 2020.
Those experiences gave Brittany a clear sense of purpose. She decided to make it her mission to give back to women and girls who had been affected by similar challenges.
As the organization worked with women and girls facing these realities, one thing became clear: many of these challenges were tied to deeper generational cycles. These cycles affected stability, wellness, relationships, opportunity, and access to resources.
That understanding shaped the direction of Strengthening Transformations Inc. and strengthened its focus on breaking negative cycles through education, community partnership, and empowerment.
Today, Strengthening Transformations Inc. advocates, mentors, and educates women and girls through workshops and community partnerships. Our work also responds to broader needs across the community through access to resources, health and wellness support, and prevention-focused programming for youth.
